DJI D14000iE – Commercial Warranty and Mandatory Maintenance

These special warranty terms apply to the DJI D14000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator purchased from the Seller. They supplement the general warranty terms of the relevant store. In case of conflict regarding the Seller’s commercial warranty for the D14000iE, these special terms prevail.

Seller / Guarantor: TEMPEX Ltd.
Address: 52 Kuklensko shose Blvd., 4004 Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Service: COPTER.BG / TEMPEX Service, tel. +359 883 390 110
E-mail: sales@dji.bg

Key engine warranty condition: If a mandatory engine-oil change at 20, 50 or 100 operating hours is missed or performed outside the Seller’s service centre/a service provider designated in writing by the Seller, the Seller’s commercial engine warranty ceases to be valid from the relevant missed maintenance interval. This does not limit mandatory statutory consumer rights.

1. Commercial warranty period and scope

The Seller provides a commercial warranty for the DJI D14000iE for 12 months from the date of delivery or until the product reaches 150 cumulative engine operating hours, whichever occurs first.

The 150-hour limit is the total cumulative operating time of the engine. Once 150 operating hours are reached, the Seller’s commercial warranty expires even if the 12-month calendar period has not yet elapsed.

The warranty applies to the product identified by its serial number and is evidenced by the purchase document and/or warranty card. In case of a discrepancy concerning operating hours, the product hour counter, diagnostic data and service records may be used.

2. Engine oil before first use

The DJI D14000iE leaves the manufacturer without engine oil. The generator must not be started before it has been filled with suitable engine oil.

Use SAE 10W-40 engine oil meeting API SJ or a higher specification, or an equivalent oil expressly permitted by the current DJI manual. Nominal engine oil capacity is approximately 1.3 L.

The initial oil fill does not replace the first mandatory oil change at 20 operating hours.

3. Mandatory engine-oil maintenance schedule

The engine-oil level must be checked before every use. Operating with a low oil level may cause severe engine damage.

First mandatory oil change: no later than 20 operating hours.

Subsequent mandatory oil changes: at the 50, 100 and 150 operating-hour milestones and, for operation after the commercial warranty period, at each following 50-hour service milestone unless DJI or the Seller requires a shorter interval.

When operating in high temperatures, dusty conditions or other harsh environments, oil-change and other maintenance intervals must be shortened in accordance with the DJI manual and service instructions.

4. Mandatory Seller service requirement for engine commercial warranty

To keep the Seller’s commercial warranty for the engine valid, every scheduled engine-oil change must be performed by the Seller’s service centre or by a service provider expressly designated in writing by the Seller in advance.

An oil change performed by the customer, an unauthorized workshop or another third party does not satisfy the conditions of the Seller’s commercial engine warranty.

If the mandatory oil change at 20, 50 or 100 operating hours is not completed by the required service milestone, the Seller’s commercial engine warranty ceases to be valid from the missed maintenance interval. The same applies where unsuitable oil is used or the mandatory service cannot be documented.

Every service must be recorded in the service log with the date, operating-hour reading, oil type/specification, service order or invoice number and service identification/signature.

This condition specifically concerns the Seller’s commercial warranty coverage for the engine and does not automatically exclude consideration of an unrelated defect in another component of the product.

5. Customer operating obligations

Before every use, check the engine-oil level, signs of oil/fuel leakage, condition of the air filter and the general condition of the generator.

Use only suitable unleaded fuel in accordance with the current DJI manual (minimum RON 91 and ethanol content below 10%, unless DJI specifies otherwise for the relevant market).

Follow all instructions for starting, cooling, transportation, storage and periodic maintenance. For storage exceeding 30 days, follow the long-term storage procedure in the DJI manual.

Monitor cumulative operating hours and arrange service before the relevant maintenance limit is reached.

If abnormal noise, overheating, leakage, a warning indicator or any other malfunction occurs, stop using the generator and contact the service centre.

6. Exclusions from the Seller’s commercial warranty

Damage caused by operation with insufficient engine oil, failure to follow the oil-change schedule or use of unsuitable engine oil.

Engine damage where a mandatory oil change has been performed outside the Seller’s service centre/a service provider expressly designated by the Seller.

Damage resulting from misuse, overload, improper installation, impact, dropping, fire, flooding, liquid or contaminant ingress, inadequate ventilation, negligence or use outside the intended purpose.

Damage resulting from unsuitable, contaminated or stale fuel, or failure to follow storage requirements.

Unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, parts replacement or interference with the product, serial number, operating-hour counter or electronic modules.

Normal wear and consumables, including engine oil, filters, spark plug, fuel and other periodically replaceable items, unless a manufacturing defect is established.

Damage caused by failure to follow the current DJI operating and maintenance manual.

7. Warranty claim procedure

The customer must stop using the product when a malfunction is suspected and contact the Seller/service centre without undue delay.

When the product is submitted for diagnosis, the customer must provide the product, purchase document, warranty card (if issued) and service records for all mandatory oil changes.

Do not disassemble or repair the product before inspection by the service centre. Whether a particular fault is covered by the commercial warranty is determined after technical diagnosis.

Scheduled maintenance, engine oil, consumables and the associated labour are chargeable services unless expressly agreed otherwise. Transport and other costs are handled in accordance with applicable law and the Seller’s general terms.

8. Statutory rights and manufacturer warranty

This commercial warranty is a voluntary additional warranty provided by the Seller. It does not limit or replace mandatory consumer rights arising under applicable law in relation to lack of conformity of goods.

The Seller-service requirement applies to the Seller’s voluntary commercial warranty for the engine. It does not restrict any rights that cannot legally be limited.

If a separate DJI manufacturer warranty or service policy applies to the product, it is governed by DJI’s separate terms and is not replaced by this Seller commercial warranty.

9. Technical basis

The oil-change schedule and maintenance requirements are based on the DJI D14000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator User Manual, v1.0 (2025.06). If DJI issues an updated official manual, the customer must also follow any stricter or updated safety and maintenance instructions.
