DJI Goggles

DJI Goggles are FPV glasses designed to use with DJI products. They combine a pair of large ultra-high performance screens with a wide range and fast wireless connection. All this features allows direct control of captured pictures and videos. The system supports the intelligent flight modes ActiveTrack, TapFly, TerrainFollow, Cinematic and Tripod, allowing you to enjoy a whole new aspect of flying.

Low Lag Transmission

DJI Goggles can transmit video signals at 720p/ 60fps and 1080p/ 30fps, with extremely low latency (only 110ms). The wireless transmition system OcuSync of Mavic Pro allow you to connect up to 4 devices simultaneously. Antennas embedded in the headband provide up to 360˚ coverage, providing a reliable connection even if the drone flying behind you.

The ordinary 2K glasses have two screens that provide a resolution of 1280x1440 for each eye. When you are viewing 16:9 images, some areas are cropped, and you see only ¼ of all pixels. DJI Goggles provide 1920x1080 resolution for each screen, allowing you to enjoy all details of the image.

DJI Goggles has a beam splitter that display the image in front of each eye, then polarize it to avoid overlapping. This technique allows you to transmit the image at 1920x1080 resolution for each eye. When using the goggles with large aperture aspheric lens, a 85° field of view is created.

Head Tracking Mode

When you switch to Head Tracking Flight mode, you can control the movement of the drone and rotation of the camera just by moving your head. All you have to do if you want to move the drone into the left or right is to turn your head in the appropriate direction. You need to keep your head straighten if you want to stop turning of the drone. In Head Tracking Gimbal mode, you can only control the rotation of the camera.

Intelligent Flight

The newest Intelligent Flight Mode Fixed-Wing does not allow the drones to rotate left or right in flight. In this mode your Mavic will fly forward with a rotating motion for more realistic flight simulation. Combined with Head Tracking mode you can control DJI Mavic Pro by turning your head – this feature allow you to feel you are flying in the sky. The AR trajectory prediction feature provides more security for the drone during flight in inappropriate conditions when Fixed-Wing mode is activated. You already know Terrain Follow, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Cinematic and Tripod modes – all of it are compatible with DJI Goggles.

Comfortable and Flexible

The unique headband design balances and spreads the weight of the DJI Goggles around the head, reducing the pressure on the face and making the glasses lightweight and comfortable to wear for a couple of hours. DJI Goggles can be used by people who wearing dioptric glasses. The screen glasses can be turned upward to see the real world, as well as detached entirely, making glasses easy for transportation.

Connect Your Devices

The wide variety of embedded interfaces allows DJI Goggles virtual reality glasses to work with different devices.

Micro USB Input

Through the micro USB port you can connect DJI Phantom 4 and Inspire series drones to the DJI Goggles, which will allow you to access Head Tracking functions. The USB port also can be used for firmware updates.

HDMI Input

Watch in real time the video taken by the DJI Phantom 4 or Inspire camera drones. You can also turn on a video device to watch movies or play video games.

Micro SD Card

Download the files from the drone and upload them to the DJI Goggles SD card to create backup. You can also watch the videos you have already created.

Audio

Connect the headphones to the audio jack or use the built-in speakers to listen the sound of the videos which is transmitted through the HDMI cable.
